It is not technically a down breed of sheep (the down breeds come from the Downs region in England and North Country Cheviots originate in Scotland), but still hold a lot of down characteristics. These blankets are considered a queen, although they are bigger than the traditional queen size. They are a fabulous camping blanket, being fairly thin and still very warm, or an additional layer on your bed for fall and winter nights.
